Welcome to "Tonks and her revenge...{A Harry Potter Fanfic}", the story of Tonks who had to take a huge decision as she saw her Husband die feet away.
Chapter One: On the eve of a War...
Tonks was feeding her baby thinking of the dark time which lied ahead. Teddy Lupin was nearly finished and was dosing slightly off to sleep. Tonks was scared. She thought to herself, Will i be able to protect my family? I know that a war is on the corner.
She was drowned in her sea of worries. As she cleaned Teddy, she thought about his wonderful future. She only hoped he wouldn't have to face the problems like his Father. She didn't want anyone to hurt him. She wished Harry would succeed in whatever that he was doing to bring the downfall of Lord Voldemort.
She then thought about Remus Lupin, her personal Werewolf of a Husband. She had taken an oath that she would help her husband and be with him until the very end. His transformation had just finished yesterday so she was happy that she would be near him this week. She knew that somewhere around next week, the war would start. Then Tonks alongside her husband Remus would fight in the War...
But she couldn't bring Teddy with her. So, that afternoon, Tonks apparated at her Mother's house. She handed her baby to her mother "Andromeda." Her father had just died days before. Andromeda took Baby Lupin and kept him in a cradle she had in which Tonks had first slept.
Tonks gave a last look at her baby, kissed his forehead, muttered some courage and left for her house, apparating obviously.
As she appeared outside her house which was protected by a number of ancient enchantments, she saw Remus running outside his house. He said in a hurried voice "Harry is in Hogwarts! They are preparing for battle..." Tonks replied with a smile "Lets go then. Lets show You-Know Who what we-" but Lupin cut her in middle "No! You are not coming! This is dangerous! You cannot leave the house..."
Tonks knew this would happen. She explained him "I love you Remus. I swore that i would be by your side forever. I am coming whether you like it or not!" and they argued until Tonks gave up. Remus kissed her passionately and ran to Hogsmeade from where he would go to Hogwarts.
Tonks obviously wasn' giving up. She Disapparated to the Burrow and informed everyone there. They all started Disapparating to Hogsmeade to go inside the castle. Ginny and Tonks both remained behind as they were forbidden to go. Obviously, Tonks wouldn't listen. And so wouldn't Harry.
They both discussed this and at last, they both Disapparated into Hogsmeade, going through the Potrait of Ariana Dumbledore, clambering inside the Room of Requirements...
